    Abstract: A binocular magnifier which has a convex lens for the right eye retained in front of the right eye and a convex lens for the left eye retained in front of the left eye. The convex lens for the right eye is disposed eccentrically in such a manner that the optical axis of the lens is parallel to the visual axis of the right eye in the short-distance working region and located on the side of the visual axis of the right eye which is closer to the left eye. The convex lens for the left eye is disposed eccentrically in such a manner that the optical axis of the lens is parallel to the visual axis of the left eye in the short-distance working region and located on the side of the visual axis of the left eye which is closer to the right eye. The two convex lenses are spliced together in one unit at the median position between the right and left eyes.

    Abstract: An improved radio controlled yacht of the type including servo motors, a battery and a receiver mounted thereon is disclosed, wherein the yacht is adapted to sail on water by itself under the influence of natural wind force while the extent of swing of its sail and the angle of turning of a rudder are controlled in response to signals transmitted from a sender. A sail servo for controlling the extent of swing of the sail includes an output shaft to which a sail trimmer is fixedly secured and sheets are inserted through holes which are formed on the end part of the sail trimmer. One end of the sheet is attached to a boom of the sail, whereas the other end of the sheet extends in the direction of the boom and it is anchored at a predetermined position located on the deck.
