Abstract: An anti-skid device for automobie tires having a plurality of members joined together with hooks wherein mutually spaced tightening end portions of the anti-skid device body which extend radially inward along the side surfaces of a tire when the device body is set on the tire are connected to each other by a length-variable fastener consisting of hooks connected at one ends thereof to the opposed tightening end portions, and a plate having holes in its base portion and pivotably supporting the other ends of the hooks in different holes therein. A length of separation between the opposite tightening end portions can be set smaller than the free length thereof by rotating the plate.
