Patent number: 7322709Abstract: A door-mirror-controlling apparatus includes an ECU, a velocity detector, a turn-signal lamp, and a DC motor; the ECU includes an MPU and a motor driver circuit. The velocity detector detects the velocity of an automobile, and outputs a velocity signal to the ECU. The MPU outputs an outer-turn-start signal to the motor driver circuit when the turn-signal lamp is blinking while the automobile is moving at a predetermined velocity or more. When the motor driver circuit receives the outer-turn-start signal, it outputs a signal to the DC motor and the DC motor rotates such that a reflective surface of a mirror turns outward, away from the automobile, compared to its original state.Type: GrantFiled: July 16, 2004Date of Patent: January 29, 2008Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha Honda AccessInventors: Hiroshi Kurumagawa, Tomoyuki Ichi, Mitsuo Kurano

Patent number: 5659887Abstract: In an audio message communication apparatus for an automobile, a portable radiotelephone is supported on a holder which is mounted forwardly of a driving compartment. An external amplifier and an external microphone are connected through the holder to an earphone microphone terminal of the radiotelephone. The external amplifier is connected to an external speaker for amplifying a received audio signal of the radiotelephone which is converted into a voice so as to be generated in a form of a loud voice. A transmitting voice is entered through the external microphone into the radiotelephone. With the above construction, the audio message communication is effectively achieved with an operator's hands free.Type: GrantFiled: April 21, 1994Date of Patent: August 19, 1997Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha Honda AccessInventor: Yoshifumi Ooe

Patent number: 5263093Abstract: In a close talking microphone device in use for a communication apparatus for a motorcycle, a front casing 2 and a back casing 3 are provided with a front opening 7 and a back opening respectively. Elastic supporting members 5, 6 and 15 for a microphone 4 are accommodated through a first and second filters 11 and 12 between the front casing 2 and the back casing 3 and formed thereon with first, second and third through holes 13, 14 and 16 connected to each other. The microphone 4 is engaged within the third through hole to form a pair of sound paths at each front and back side of the microphone 4. The front sound path is smaller in volume than the back sound path and the opening size of the through hole 13 is defined narrower than that of the through hole 14, whereby a sideward noise diverges into two courses "a" and "b" and the diverging noises reaching the microphone are cancelled by each other so as to be dampened.Type: GrantFiled: January 30, 1992Date of Patent: November 16, 1993Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha Honda AccessInventors: Shigehira Nakamura, Shigenori Takeda
