  • Patent number: 4308786
Abstract: A trigger device for an automatic gun provided with a connector piece which serves to engage a hammer with a sear and also is interlocked with a trigger to slide forward on a trigger guard inside a receiver in such a way as to disengage the hammer from the sear in direct response to the backward and forward movement of a breech block.

  • Patent number: 4276707
Abstract: A cartridge/carrier locking device for an automatic gun including a latch plate pivotally mounted on an inner wall of a receiver to pivot in a seesaw like manner to have two ends thereof alternately protrude inside of the receiver. The front end protrudes to restrain a cartridge and the rear end to restrain a carrier. A spring pushes the rear end toward the inside of the receiver. Against this spring, a breechblock and a cartridge brought out of a magazine respectively restrict the protruding motion of the rear end until the breechblock moves backward approximately to a maximum extent. The position at which the breechblock comes to restrict the protruding motion of the rear end of the latch plate is arranged to differ from the position at which the cartridge comes to restrict in such a way as to allow the rear end to lock the carrier.

  • Patent number: 4207798
Abstract: In an automatic gun, the gas pressure generated by the firing of a shot shell is transmitted to the breechblock in the receiver housing by the axial sliding movement of an action bar assembly mounted outside the gunbarrel or the cartridge magazing tube for releasing the breechblock. The action bar assembly includes action bars slidably mounted coaxially with each other and an adjusting spring for arresting the contraction of the span between the stem bodies. A cylinder is fixed to the gunbarrel for receiving the gas pressure from it. The forward end of the action bar assembly extends into the cylinder, while the rearward end passes through a guide hole in the receiver into contact with the front surface of the breechblock. The rearward end has a stopper for restricting the axial movement of the action bar assembly to a predetermined length.

  • Patent number: 4164088
Abstract: A cartridge/carrier locking device is used for an automatic gun loading arrangement of a type for removing a cartridge from a magazine onto a carrier by releasing it from a locked state for firing and for pushing it up into a barrel chamber by an upward sway of the carrier which takes place in response to the forward stroke of a breech block. A latch plate which is provided with a first claw part at its forward end for locking the cartridge and a second claw part at its rear end for locking the carrier, is pivotally attached to an inner wall of a receiver containing the automatic gun loading arrangement. The first and second claw parts serve, respectively, to lock the cartridge and the carrier as the claw parts alternately protrude into the inside of the receiver in a swaying fashion. A spring is arranged to push the second claw part of the latch plate to the inside of the receiver.

  • Patent number: 4161836
Abstract: A breechblock assembly and operating mechanism for a gas operating automatic loading fire-arm has a breechblock slider adapted to be retracted by utilization of a gas pressure at the firing of the shotshell, a link is pivoted at the rear end of the slider so as to be swingable up and down and provided with swinging-movement limiting means, a breechblock is adapted to be locked so as to tightly close the breech face of the barrel and is mounted on the breechblock slider so as to be forwardly movable for a predetermined length, and a propelling force recoil spring mechanism engages the rear end of the link and is located in the stock of the gun for energizing the link to guide the tilting backward movement thereof, and the actuating mechanism is so constructed that it releases the limitation of the swinging-movement of the link when the breechblock slider and the breechblock are relatively moved by a predetermined length from their initial positions.

  • Patent number: 4043267
Abstract: A firearm cartridge assembly consists of a casing having a bullet mounted in one end and an explosive charge in the opposite end with a wad extending between the two end elements. The wad has a generally cylindrical configuration and includes a first end and a second end each containing a similarly shaped recess. The first end in the assembled position contacts the explosive charge and the second end contacts the trailing end surface of the bullet. Located between and spaced axially from the ends of the wad is a centrally located disc-shaped section extending transversely of the axis extending between the ends and having an outer periphery generally conforming to and in surface contact with the inner surface of the casing so that the disc-shaped section forms a seal with the casing against gas leakage when the charge is exploded.
