Patents Assigned to Kabushiki Kaisha Maki Seisakusho
  • Patent number: 4860882
Abstract: Distributive feeding apparatus for separating a plurality of articles fed to a receiving part (12) to a plurality of separated lanes has a bar conveyor (11) comprising two chains (103) with bars (104) extending therebetween and carrier elements (105) slidably mounted on the bars (104). Guide rails (106) are provided below the carrying run of the conveyor and are engaged by lugs (1055) provided on each carrying element (105). During advancement of the conveyor with articles on the carrying surfaces (1051) of the elements (105), the elements (105) are gradually slid apart, guided by the rails (106), so that the elements are directed along each lane so as to feed carried articles in those lanes for further processing.

  • Patent number: 4840265
Abstract: An object distributing and supplying method, comprising a step of receiving ball-like objects supplied in a bulk from a preceding process line by a wide receiving part formed by starting end parts of a plurality of curved conveyors adjacently connected with each other, a step of distributing the objects into a plurality of separated rows in a curved line, and a step of conveying each of the rows of objects in a streamline into respective downstream apparatuses.

  • Patent number: 4825068
Abstract: A method and apparatus for inspecting appearance of articles while they are transported on a conveyor by reflecting images of four different side surfaces of the article being by means of a plurality of reflecting means arranged above and at both sides of a conveying path on the conveyor to transmit the four images onto a sensor surface of a sensor camera, reflecting an image of a top surface of the article onto the sensor surface of the sensor camera in the array with the four images, and scanning and photographing the images of five different surfaces of the article formed on the sensor surface of the sensor camera by the sensor camera at every preset amount of movement of the article synchronized with the conveyor, and processing the photographed images so as to measure and inspect the form, size and surface conditions of the article by using only one sensor camera at the same time.

  • Patent number: 4586613
Abstract: In a method and an apparatus for sorting fruits and vegetables which is arranged to convey fruits and vegetables of various shapes such as spheroidal shapes, spherical massive shapes, non-spherical massive shapes or amorphous shapes one by one on a tray device, a measuring device including a planar-shape dimension measuring unit, a side-shape dimension measuring unit and a weight measuring unit is arranged at a part of a conveying path to sort and rank the object to be sorted by comparing the results of measurement with sorting classification values preset by a computing device. The measuring device permits selection of the planar shape, side shape or weight. The apparatus includes a fruit or vegetable distribution section which includes receiving bins of different sizes determined according to ranking by the measuring device. One or plurality of the objects are dispersively discharged into these bins by a discharge device according to the sizes of the bins.

  • Patent number: 4569434
Abstract: A conveyor system of a unique configuration is designed for conveying relatively small, light weight articles, such as agricultural products particularly fruits and the like, by feeding them in alignment in the travelling direction of the conveyor and at random spacing. A sorting zone is provided for sorting these articles during the conveying process. An information read-out device which is provided either at a feeding device before the entrance point of the conveyor or at a point before the sorting zone produces sorting signals in synchronism with the travel of the articles. The articles are sorted and discharged in response to the signals by dropping them to lower side places. The conveying upper surface of the conveyor consists of slat-like receiving plates spaced at a small pitch measuring only a quarter or fifth or thereabout of the size of articles to be processed.
