  • Patent number: 5148665
Abstract: A roving bobbin carrier system having a single carrier line for conveying a plurality of full wound roving bobbins from a roving frame to a fine spinning frame and conveying a plurality of unwound roving bobbins from the fine spinning frame to the roving frame with the unwound roving bobbins converted into blank roving bobbins having no residual roving. A stock conveyor is provided at a midway position of the carrier line independently thereof. A residual roving removing device and first and second transfer mechanisms are provided in connection with the stock conveyor to convert the unwound roving bobbins to the blank roving bobbins. Accordingly, the conveyance of the full wound roving bobbins and the unwound roving bobbins can be efficiently carried out through the single carrier line.

  • Patent number: 5137222
Abstract: A cop feeding apparatus for an automatic winder for feeding cops which are carried on trays and conveyed along a conveyance rail automatically to empty spindle portions of cop magazines in the automatic winder while moving along the conveying rail. In this cop feeding apparatus, a cop is pulled out from a tray by a cop draw-out device; a yarn end of the cop is held by a yarn end draw-out device; the cop is then fed to an empty spindle portion of a magazine through a storage device and a retaining/introducing device; a yarn end of the cop is delivered securely to the magazine side by a yarn end guide device; and thus each cop and a yarn end thereof can be fed to an empty magazine spindle portion smoothly without entanglement of cops with each other.

  • Patent number: 5129206
Abstract: The invention provides a cheese transporting processing apparatus for classifying cheeses wound up by winders or the like for different types and packing and carrying out the thus classified cheeses. When a cheese is transported by an overhead conveyor with a type identifying unit, information of a type of the cheese is written into the type identifying unit. In accordance with such type information, cheeses are stocked for different types into a cheese stocker. In response to a demanding instruction from a packing line, cheeses of a specified type are discharged from the cheese stocker and boxed and packed. Such sequence of operations is performed automatically on the cheese transporting processing apparatus.

  • Patent number: 5040660
Abstract: A cop sorting and transporting system for a transporting step from spinning machines to winders in a spinning mill. A tab code representative of a type of a yarn of a cop is set arbitrarily to a tab device provided for each of cop magnazines which are provided for accommodating cops therein in order to selectively determine a destination of the cop magazine. The tab code of the tab device can be changed or reset to allow repetitive use of the tab device, which allows common use of the cop magazines to cope with production of many types of spun yarn by small quantities.

  • Patent number: 4970856
Abstract: A bobbin transport system for spinning frames for supplying bobbins from bobbin reservoirs to spinning frames in a spinning mill. The spinning frames are divided into dedicated machine groups and a common machine group or groups. Bobbins are supplied to the dedicated machine groups by way of a main transport path and/or a sub transport path, and a communicating transport path for transferring bobbins from the sub transport path to the main transport path is provided for each of the spinning frames of the common machine group or groups. The bobbin transport system for spinning frames makes it possible to change the allotment of numbers of spinning frames for different types of yarns to be set for the common machine group or groups and to distribute different types of bobbins accurately to predetermined spinning frames thereby to enable production of several articles by small quantities without deteriorating the availability factor of the entire spinning frames.
