  • Patent number: 5380488
Abstract: A container feeding system is disclosed, which includes a feed stocker for stocking racks holding containers, one or more sampling feeders connected to the downstream side of the feed stocker, and one or more analyzers for withdrawing samples from containers which are moved to sampling positions in an interlocked relation to the sampling feeder or feeders. One or more coupling feeders are connected to the respective downstream sides of the sampling feeder or feeders, and a treated container stocker is connected to the most downstream side of the coupling feeder or feeders. The individual components are provided as respective units. The number of sampling feeders and coupling feeders connected thereto can be increased or reduced, and in correspondence therewith so can the number of analyzers disposed along a rack feeding line. The rack feeding path can thus be readily increased and reduced, as desired, to meet the scale of the delivery side.

  • Patent number: 5318359
Abstract: An automatic medical sampling device comprises a vacuum breaking needle for connecting the inside of a vacuum blood gathering tube with the air. An inserting needle has a length sufficient to be located at a position slightly below the lower end of the vacuum breaking needle at the highest position of the vacuum breaking needle. A container holder or maintainer has a bottom slope or projections for supporting a container, and a stirring device stops reciprocation of the stirring bar by detecting the position of the bar.

  • Patent number: 5183638
Abstract: An immunity analysis apparatus for use with magnetic particles in which a sample is transferred to a reaction vessel and the reaction vessel is conveyed past several devices for adding and agitating a magnetic particle solution, adding a stroma solution, absorbing the particles to an inner wall of the reaction vessels to remove the reaction solution, adding an enzyme labelling antibody solution, absorbing the particle on an inner wall a second time to remove the resulting solution, adding a stop solution, measuring the result, and cleaning the reaction vessels for a reuse. The device additionally has structure for agitating the magnetic particle reagent solution containers and moving a pipet arm independent of an L-shaped agitating rod arm during a portion of its movement to supply the reaction vessels with the magnetic particle solution.

  • Patent number: 5173741
Abstract: An automatic analyzing device includes an endless belt for holding plural reaction receptacles at a certain interval spacing along a straight carrying line, a belt driving device for carrying the reaction receptacles intermittently, in order, from a sample injecting position to an optical measuring position through a reagent injecting position, and a sample injecting device for injecting a necessary amount of sample at the sample injecting position. A reagent injecting device is placed above the carrying line for injecting a reagent corresponding to a measuring item at the reagent injecting position. An optical measuring device optically measures a property of reacted liquid present in the reaction receptacles.
