    Abstract: In a shift device, a first mechanism of a restriction mechanism restricts rotation of a knob in one direction, and a second mechanism of the restriction mechanism restricts rotation of the knob in another direction. Drive devices of the restriction mechanism are configured solely by a solenoid of the first mechanism and a solenoid of the second mechanism. This thereby enables configuration of the restriction mechanism to be simplified.
