    Abstract: A binding-up band for use in fastening articles having remarkable shrink properties such as cotton or the like has at its ends locking structures which are adapted to fit one in the other in a complementary manner. In this locking structure, a plurality of raised engaging portions each having a wide portion and narrow portion are provided in a row in the longitudinal direction, and these raised engaging portions are formed by providing a sufficient number of pairs of symmetrical bent cuts in the band and pressing out these cut-provided portions to be of a trapezoid-like shape in longitudinal cross-section.
