    Abstract: The detachable communications headset described herein is all acoustic, comprising support means for a transmitter tube and a receiver tube and for supporting the headset on the user's head. The transmitter and receiver tubes are detachably coupled to communications equipment remote from the headset. All electronic components necessary for radio and telephone communications are remote from the user's head.
