  • Patent number: 5002498
Abstract: A card-edge connector comprising a housing having a circuit-board insertion groove having both ends and formed in the wall face. A contact is fixedly inserted in the contact holes of the housing, so that an end of a circuit board is inserted in the contact. The circuit board is electrically connected to the contact when it is rotated to a position substantially perpendicular to the wall face and is held by the circuit-board holding members of the housing after the circuit board has been inserted slantwise in the circuit-board insertion groove. First lift preventing means and second lift preventing means are provided at the respective ends of the circuit-board insertion groove so as to prevent the circuit board from lifting from the housing.

  • Patent number: 4734060
Abstract: Connector device having rod-like male and female contact sections of the same shapes to contact each other while they are arranged substantially parallel to each other. Contact section guide walls opposing each other are formed in the connector body. Rod-like contact sections are provided between the opposing guide walls. The proximal end of each contact section is fixed to the connector body and the distal end thereof is free to be elastically deformed. A contact projection is formed on the distal end of the rod-like contact section. An inclined portion is formed between the contact projection and a fixing section at the proximal end of the contact section.

  • Patent number: 4531792
Abstract: In an IC connector for connecting lead terminals of an IC package of the dual in-line type to terminals of a circuit board, first grooves and first projections are formed on two surfaces of a slide body. The main body has two walls each of which has a surface which has a plurality of second grooves and which opposes at least one surface of the slide body. One end of each connecting terminal is inserted in each second groove. The other end of each connecting terminal extends through each second groove to be connected to a predetermined terminal of the circuit board. The slide body is supported by a supporting means such that the slide body may be movable between a first position and a second position along the direction of arrangement of the second grooves. When the slide body is in the first position, the first and second grooves define gaps therebetween into which or from which the lead terminals may be inserted or removed.
