Abstract: An apparatus is provided for collecting solids out of a waste mixture of liquid and solids flowing in a vacuum drain system. The apparatus includes a self-actuating valve means for regulating the flow of waste mixture from a reservoir which accumulates the mixture into a separator where the mixture is differentiated into its solid and liquid parts. The liquid is drawn off through a drain assembly which is attched to the vacuum drain system. The apparatus further includes an indicator to indicate when a certain quantity of solids has been collected to the separator.
