    Abstract: The present invention provides an inexpensive chuck device that can achieve both a stable gripping operation and a high degree of accuracy in gripping and can also reduce limitations in the gripping of a workpiece. According to the present invention, a chuck device is provided, the chuck device being characterized by comprising a chuck main body and a master jaw, wherein the chuck main body has an oscillation supporting hole, and the oscillation supporting holes are rotatably provided in plurality around a rotational axis of the chuck main body, and wherein the master jaw has a top jaw detachably provided on one end thereof, and is fitted into the oscillation supporting hole while maintaining surface contact therewith to enable sliding contact.

The inner diameter of the large diameter hole 22 is then gripped. A work gripping device 1 includes a cylindrical body 2, a plunger 3 that moves back and forth along an axial direction of the body 2, a jaw 4 that moves in a radial direction of the body 2 in tandem with the plunger 3, and a pusher 6 that presses the work W in a direction away from the body 2 in accompaniment with movement of the plunger 3. The jaw 4 includes a gripping surface 24 that grips the work W and a contact surface 5 that projects in an outward radial direction from an end edge of the gripping surface 24 away from the body 2.

    Abstract: An apparatus for transferring workpieces to and from the chuck of a machine tool. A gripper arm is mounted to the machine frame for selectively axial and rotational movement on a shaft having helical and longitudinal threads on the surface thereof. A first nut is rotatably mounted to the machine frame for axial advancement of the shaft and a second nut is rotatably mounted for rotational advancement. The apparatus may also include a panel mounted to the machine frame between a transfer station and the chuck. An opening in the panel adjacent the transfer station has surfaces which mate with corresponding surfaces of the gripper arm so as to preclude the passage of debris to the transfer station. The apparatus may also include an apparatus for sequentially transferring a series of workpieces. The apparatus has a two gripper jaws and a compressible pusher plate therebetween which is compressed as it is moved towards an opening in an input chute so that a workpiece may roll between the jaws of the gripper.

The applied pre-load acts on the rolling bearings in such a manner that the rolling bearings are biased to move away from each other in their axial direction.

This control is performed by checking the drying condition of the material as it is in the chamber. Moreover, unmanned operation is thereby easily secured by converting the drying condition to electrical signals and automatically setting the running conditions with those signals as input.
