The blank includes a score line having high and low portions such that the total length of a high portion plus the total length of a low portion is about 1/65 inch or less. The low portions may be holes and preferably the plastic is polyester.

Abstract: A multi-tier display rack is formed from a flat blank of sheet material. The sheet material includes four panels which create front, rear and opposed side walls of the display rack. In a preferred embodiment, one panel includes sections which are partially punched out to form shelves of the display rack. Each shelf includes a slot therethrough. Another panel includes locking tabs which are partially punched out and pushed through the slots to lock the shelves in place.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for making display boxes having windows made of substantially rigid plastic material. The boxes comprise substantially rigid opaque material, such as paperboard, in combination with substantially rigid plastic material. The substantially rigid plastic material includes at least one fold line or groove which cooperates with a fold line in the opaque material when the box is set up. The present invention provides a method and apparatus for making such boxes from a supply of sheets of the opaque material and a supply of sheets of the plastic material. The method comprises the steps of supplying a sheet of opaque material with an opening, positioning a supplied sheet of plastic material into juxtaposition with the sheet of opaque material to cover the opening, adhering the plastic material to the opaque material, and forming groove lines in the plastic and opaque sheets to permit folding of the sheets along aligned groove lines.

Abstract: A display container comprises permanent side walls, a first end with at least two side wall flanges depending from the side walls and a second end sealable to form a closed bottom wall. At least a portion of one of the side wall flanges is permanently bonded to another side wall flange to form a closed, bonded top wall to maintain the display container in a permanently sealed condition so that product placed inside the container is inaccessible from either the top or bottom wall. A method of packaging incorporating the display container is also provided.

Abstract: A method for precision aligning of carton blanks having discrete fold lines in the manufacture of product display packages utilizes projecting alignment pins and transparent window blanks having laterally opposed notches. The alignment pins are arranged about the periphery of a carton blank having discrete fold lines and adjacent the inner edges of a formed opening for registration of the carton blank. The transparent window blank, having its pair of opposed notches in alignment with a fold line, is disposed in overlapping relationship over the opening of the carton blank, such that the alignment pins are received within the notches. The cooperation of the alignment pins and notches effectively provides precision alignment of the transparent window blank with the carton blank, for example, with respect to their fold lines and the like.
