  • Patent number: 7808460
Abstract: A display LED drive circuit configured in such a manner that, for example, a constant current circuit, a green display LED circuit, and a red display LED circuit are connected in series and a resistor circuit having a resistor that generates a potential difference identical to the respective display LEDs is connected in parallel to the respective LED circuits. A corresponding switching element of the display LED circuit and a corresponding switching element of the resistor circuit connected in parallel are controlled to be opened and closed in opposite ways, another route connected to a source circuit in parallel is connected to the constant current circuit, a blue display LED circuit connected in parallel to the resistor circuit as described above, and a constant voltage diode in series, and a predetermined voltage is derived from an output terminal by the constant voltage diode and supplied to a control circuit.

  • Patent number: 7612736
Abstract: A light-emitting unit capable of setting an address easily and reliably and checking the result of address setting. The light-emitting unit, such as an LED unit that constructs the unit of light emission of a display unit or the unit of light emission of an ornamental display, includes an infrared receiving element that receives data including an address transmitted by infrared light; an address storage section that stores the address; and a controller that recognizes an address from the data and stores the address in the address storage section. Preferably, the controller stores the light-emission patterns of a display LED for a normal address setting and an erroneous address setting, wherein when normal setting is recognized, the display LED emits light in a normal-setting emission pattern, and when an error is recognized, the display LED emits light in a error-setting emission pattern.

Abstract: A light-emitting unit system which can efficiently set an address in a light-emitting unit with little labor and can easily check if addresses are normally set is provided. In the light-emitting unit system, a signal line Sb of the first LED unit is set to logic 1. On the basis of the input of an address write starting signal As, a microprocessor of each LED unit stores an address “1” into a register and sets a signal line Sc, a signal line Sd branched from the signal line Sc to logic 0. On the basis of the input of address write instructing signals Ai, the operating microprocessor judges the logic of the signal line Sb. When the input-side signal line Sb is logic 1, the address “i” stored in the register is written into the nonvolatile memory, the signal line Sc is set to logic 1 so as to turn on a LED, and the signal line Sd is set to logic 1. When the input-side signal line Sb is logic 0, 1 is added to the address “i” stored in the register so as to update the address “i” to an address “i”.

Abstract: A light-emitting unit capable of setting an address easily and reliably and checking the result of address setting obviously. The light-emitting unit, such as a LED unit 1 that constructs the unit of light emission of a display unit or the unit of light emission of an ornamental display, includes an infrared receiving element 7 that receives data including an address transmitted by infrared light; an address storage section 6 that stores the address; and a controller 5 that recognizes an address from the data and stores the address in the address storage section. Preferably, the controller 5 stores the light-emission patterns of a display LED 2 for a normal address setting and an erroneous address setting, wherein when normal setting is recognized, the display LED 2 emits light in a normal-setting emission pattern, and when an error is recognized, the display LED 2 emits light in a error-setting emission pattern.
