Abstract: The invention relates to alighting device comprising a plurality of light emitting tiles. Each light emitting tile has at least one interface, which is adapted for signal transmission. By adding a connection element in between two neighboring interfaces of two neighboring light emitting tiles, the two light emitting tiles are connected in a daisy chain bus system. The daisy chain bus system is adapted for transmitting signals, the signals being indicative of power and/or colour of each light emitting tile.

Abstract: A diversity receiver (60) has two diverse channels fed by the antennas, an adaptive equalizer (20,30) for each channel and a coefficient adapter (40) for adapting two sets of coefficients in a time shared manner for the equalizers. A combiner combines the equalized signals. By sharing one adapter for adapting the coefficients between two or more equalizers, the calculation load can be reduced. This is useful for small mobile terminals powered by battery, for use with GSM or UMTS or other radio networks. It can be applied to any type of equalizer, and using any manner of time sharing. The combiner can exploit any type of diversity between the equalized signals. The equalizers can output two equalized signal values in consecutive time slots, by reusing the same coefficients, while new coefficients are being calculated.
Abstract: A loudspeaker comprising an acoustic panel (1) having two substantially parallel main surfaces (5A, 5B) and comprising an electrical exciter (3) arranged on one of said main surfaces. The panel produces acoustic radiation upon energization of the exciter, at least subsequently as a result of bending waves produced in the panel. In order to improve the energy response of the loudspeaker, the panel has a tuning area (21) extending opposite the exciter, which tuning area has a fundamental resonance frequency which is lower than the fundamental resonance frequency of any similar area in the rest of the panel, if determined under the same conditions.
Abstract: This invention relates to a method of performing a competition between teams by means of at least two sets of modular units (20A, 20B; 21A, 21B; 22A, 22B). The invention further relates to a modular unit for performing a competition between teams.
