Abstract: Provided is a cosmetic excelling in terms of reduction of oil weight, reduction of powder weight, improvement of dispersion stability, and dispersion stability. The cosmetic contains a metal oxide having an average particle diameter of 0.01 ?m to 0.1 ?m, a paste oil including a hydrophilic group, and an acrylates/ethylhexyl acrylate/dimethicone methacrylate copolymer.
Abstract: A cosmetic applicator that includes a fixed part, a base part extending in a rod shape from the fixed part, and a tapered part extending further from the base part while reducing in diameter. The cosmetic applicator also includes an application surface formed so as to have a slant cut shape from a side surface of the base part to a side surface on an opposite side of the tapered part.
Abstract: Provided is a polyurethane gel composition containing A and B below. Here, A represents a polyurethane obtained by reaction of (a) a hydrogenated polybutadiene having isocyanate groups at the terminals and (b) a glycol represented by HO—R3—OH (wherein R3 represents a linear or branched C2 to C6 alkylene group optionally having an ether bond), or A represents a polyurethane obtained by reaction of (c) a hydrogenated polybutadiene having hydroxyl groups at the terminals, (d) a diisocyanate compound, and the (b) glycol represented by HO—R3—OH (wherein R3 represents a linear or branched C2 to C6 alkylene group optionally having an ether bond), and B represents an oil agent. The polyurethane gel composition of the present invention is particularly useful as a raw material for cosmetics since a film of an oil-soluble gel obtained using the polyurethane gel composition is exceptionally excellent in any point of transparency, high gloss, elasticity, and resilience.
Abstract: An estimation method for estimating a parameter related to skin function is provided. The estimation method includes an image acquisition step for acquiring a skin image in which unevenness of a skin surface is captured; an extraction step for extracting a feature vector based on topological information on the skin image from the skin image acquired in the image acquisition step; an estimation step for estimating the parameter related to skin function based on the feature vector extracted in the extraction step, using an estimation model constructed based on past actual measurement data in which feature vectors are associated with the parameter related to skin function; and a presentation step for presenting the parameter related to skin function estimated in the estimation step.
Abstract: The present invention is intended to provide an oily makeup cosmetic that is colorless in appearance but develops a color on application onto body surface, such as skin and lips. The present invention provides a colorless oily makeup cosmetic comprising (a) one or two dyes selected from Red No. 218 and Red No. 223, and (b) an oil agent, and a mixture of the component (a) and the component (b) at a mass ratio (a):(b) of 0.1:100 has a difference of 0.2 or less between the maximum absorbance and the minimum absorbance in a wavelength region of 500 to 600 nm. The oily makeup cosmetic may develop a color due to the component (a) on application onto body surface, such as skin and lips.
Abstract: A main object of the present technology is to provide a makeup protection cosmetic for use by spraying over makeup, which is a makeup protection cosmetic that is excellent in terms of the fineness of the mist upon use by spraying and yet has an excellent makeup protection effect. The present technology can provide a multi-layer makeup protection cosmetic for use by spraying over makeup, containing the following components (A) to (C): component (A): an oil-soluble film-forming agent, component (B): 40 to 95 mass % of water, and component (C): a volatile oil agent.
Abstract: An estimation method according to the disclosure for estimating a parameter related to skin function, the estimation method includes an image acquisition step for acquiring a skin image in which unevenness of a skin surface is captured; an extraction step for extracting a feature vector based on topological information on the skin image from the skin image acquired in the image acquisition step; an estimation step for estimating the parameter related to skin function based on the feature vector extracted in the extraction step, using an estimation model constructed based on past actual measurement data in which feature vectors are associated with the parameter related to skin function; and a presentation step for presenting the parameter related to skin function estimated in the estimation step.
Abstract: A bar-shaped cosmetic housing container includes: a dish member that holds a bar-shaped cosmetic and has an engaging portion; an inner cylinder member that has a dish-member guide groove with which the engaging portion of the dish member is engaged and a body-member slit groove with which a rotation control portion provided in a body member is engaged; the body member has a guidance groove with which the engaging portion is engaged and has the rotation control portion that is engaged with the body portion slit groove on an inner peripheral surface thereof; a screw member in which a screw groove is formed on an inner peripheral surface, the engaging portion being engaged with the screw groove and the dish member being moved in an up/down direction; and a skirt member that is provided in a lower end portion of the body member.
Abstract: To provide a makeup-protecting material that has an excellent color migration prevention effect, causes no color bleeding over time, gives no coating film appearing whitish, and gives no squeaky or burdensome feeling. A makeup-protecting material comprises (A) 80 to 95% by mass of trifluoropropylcyclopolysiloxane, (B) a fluorine compound-treated silica, and (C) 2 to 8% by mass of a partially crosslinked, fluorine-modified organopolysiloxane polymer.
