Patents Assigned to Koyo Musen Corporation
  • Patent number: 11473959
Abstract: To provide a flood detection technique with which a breakdown is less likely to occur over a long period, maintenance costs are low, and the occurrence of an abnormal water level is less likely to be erroneously determined. An inundation detection device detects a received signal strength that is the strength of a received response signal received from an RF sensor installed at a flood detection location, detects a dispersion within a specific time, detects a normal reception rate, and outputs a flood detection signal in a case where the dispersion is greater than or equal to a specific threshold and the normal reception rate is less than or equal to a specific threshold.

Abstract: To provide a flood detection technique with which a breakdown is less likely to occur over a long period, maintenance costs are low, and the occurrence of an abnormal water level is less likely to be erroneously determined. An inundation detection device 1 detects a received signal strength I(t) that is the strength of a received response signal received from an RF sensor installed at a flood detection location, detects a dispersion D(I;[t??t1, t]), within a specific time ?t1, of I(t), detects a normal reception rate R[(t??t2, t]), and outputs a flood detection signal in a case where the dispersion D(I;[t??t1, t]) is greater than or equal to a specific threshold Dth1 and the normal reception rate R[(t??t2, t]) is less than or equal to a specific threshold Rth1. When an increase in the dispersion D(I;[t??t1, t]) and a decrease in the normal reception rate R[(t??t2, t]) are appropriately determined on the basis of the thresholds, the RF sensor that is flooded can be detected with high accuracy.

  • Patent number: 7058710
Abstract: Arrangements for collecting, analyzing, consolidating and delivering consolidated and enhanced data from a plurality of sources relating to a current event, to a third party, and reserving the consolidated and enhanced data for internal use so as to create a commercial proactive emergency management and disaster response information system that can also be used for emergent commercial purposes. A data capture device associated with an individual or a location captures data related to a current event or affected site. Incoming data may include raw data, repackaged data, or value-added data from source inputs. Captured data is sent to a centralized command center or distributed command centers where it is analyzed, resolved, correlated and repackaged for use by other parties.
