Abstract: Provided are a metallic crosslinking coagent, preparation methods thereof, and a resin composition comprising the metallic crosslinking coagent. With the active-hydrogen containing organic phosphorus compound group and metallophilic acrylate group, the metallic crosslinking coagent provides both stabilizer and flame-retardant effects, enhances the crosslinking efficiency of the resin composition, and improves the compatibility between flame retardant and the polymer. Accordingly, the metallic crosslinking coagent is effective to improve the mechanical properties of the application material and to develop a safe and environmentally friendly flame retardant material.
Abstract: A clarifying agent composition comprises a diacetal powder and an organosilane treated fume silica having a pH value of 5.5 to 8, measured in a 4% w/w dispersion in 1:1 mixture of water-methanol. The diacetal has the general structure formula (I), (II), (III), (IV) or (V), wherein R1 and R2 are independently selected from the group consisting of H, C1-C4 alkyl, C1-C4 carbalkoxy, F, Cl, and Br; a is 0, 1, 2 or 3; b is 0, 1, 2 or 3 and n is 0 or 1. The organosilane treated fume silica is dispersed in the diacetal powder and being 0.05˜50% by weight the clarifying agent composition. This invention also intents to provide a new manufacturing method for preparing superfine powdery diacetal composition with high dispersion characteristic the use of said compositions for preparing polyolefin plastic article without the visible white spots on the surface of the corresponding article.
Abstract: The invention provides an improved process for preparing organic amine borane complex characterized in that it takes advantage of the slow reaction of potassium borohydride with water and the increased solubility in an ether/water mixed solvent containing minor amount of sodium hydroxide, adding slowly an organic amine to control the reaction rate and effectively control the generation of hydrogen gas in a manner to increase the yield and ensure the process safety.

Abstract: An improved process for producing modified zinc acrylate fine powder is disclosed, comprising adding acrylic acid in a organic liquid medium and reacting in the presence of zinc oxide and fatty acid, and after completing of the reaction, adding nonionic surfactant, blending homogeneously, removing said organic medium and water by distillation under reduced pressure and simple pulverizing. The process can attains uniform diffusion in a state very rarely inducing fast adhesion or formation of cluster in the drying step, and, permits easy pulverization into a fine powder, 99% of which has a particle size<44 &mgr;m and thereby can be used directly without needing any sieving.
