    Abstract: A three terminal neuromorphic synaptic device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided. The three terminal neuromorphic synaptic device includes a substrate, source/drain electrodes provided on the substrate, a channel region electrically connected between the source electrode and the drain electrode, an ion transfer layer provided on the channel region, a gate electrode provided on the ion transfer layer, and a voltage application unit to apply a gate voltage to the gate electrode. The ion transfer layer includes an electrolyte material to transfer an active ion of the gate electrode between the gate electrode and the channel region, in response to the gate voltage applied to the gate electrode. The voltage application unit adjusts a resistance and a conductance of the channel region by changing an amount of active ions accumulated in the channel region, depending on the number of times that the gate voltage is applied.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a method for producing a Heusler-based phase thermoelectric material using an amorphous phase precursor. More specifically disclosed is a method for producing a powder or bulk thermoelectric material having a microstructure including a Heusler-based phase with a thermoelectric effect by crystallization of an amorphous phase precursor prepared by a non-equilibrium processes. Also disclosed is a device using a Heusler-based phase thermoelectric material produced by the method. The method largely avoids the efficiency problems of conventional methods, including low productivity in scaling up caused by long annealing time, high annealing temperature, and contamination during nanopowder production, achieving improved process efficiency. In addition, the method enables efficient production of a thermoelectric material having a nano-sized microstructure that is difficult to produce by a conventional method.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a peptide bound to PD-L1 and uses for cancer immunotherapy and anticancer using the same, and the peptide of the present invention specifically binds to PD-L1 and inhibits it, thereby activating the function of immune cells against cancer cells and exhibiting anticancer effects. The peptides of the present invention selected two peptides (PD-L1Pep-1 and PD-L1Pep-2) that bind well to cells with high expression of human PD-L1 protein using phage peptide display technology and it was confirmed that it inhibits its function by binding to PD-L1 in humans and mice. The peptide of the present invention showed an effect similar level to that of an antibody and is relatively stable in blood, indicating a high potential as a cancer immunotherapy in the future.
