  • Patent number: 4682280
Abstract: An arrangement that is independent of a press for physically simulating the actual movements of transfer rails of a multi-stage press and for reducing periods of stoppage of multi-stage presses during the tool change and the connected setting up of tools, of gripping devices and of the movements of the transfer rails. The arrangement includes a program control for the sequences of movements employing values optimally adjusted at the arrangement, for the adjusting measurements, the acceleration and speed values of the transfer rails, for the tool automation and the active gripper operation which are scanned using program-technology and are processed into a cycle of movements that can be transmitted to the multi-stage press.

  • Patent number: 4651273
Abstract: A pressure control installation for presses in which the individual pressure consuming stations are to be actuated with different pressures. During the setting up of the presses, it is necessary to fetch and display visible for the operator values adjusted during the optimization and interim value. The pressure control units, whose number depends on the number of differing high pressures, are connected by way of an interface component to a stored programmable control SPS. The read-out of the data in the pressure control unit takes place by way of a read-out key whereby a routine is initiated it the SPS during the actuation of the read-out key for the guidance of the operator.

  • Patent number: 4648003
Abstract: A protective circuit arrangement of a motor control for the starting and operation of a motor of a press with a power stage, a current-regulating element and a rotational speed regulating element. Comparator stages are connected to the inputs of the regulating elements for forming the guide magnitudes from the actual current value and the desired current value as well as from the actual rotational speed value and the desired rotational speed value. For suppressing the disconnect signal during the starting phase of the motor, the circuit additionally includes a rotational speed comparator stage, a desired current value memory and a current comparator stage. The desired current value, which stored after the starting phase in the desired current value memory, is compared with the current value in the current comparator stage to produce a motor current interrupt signal in case of an overload current that might lead to a press damage.

  • Patent number: 4635463
Abstract: An arrangement for ejecting formed parts out of the matrix of a deformation press, in which for avoiding jamming of the segment of an ejection arrangement, which is displaceably and fixedly supported at the guidance in the shape of a circular arc of the driving lever, the mutually contacting surfaces are made according to different radial dimensions whereby the radial dimension of the counterabutment surface of the segment is slightly smaller than the radial dimension of the abutment surface of the driving lever. Clamping elements constructed as pressure cylinders serve for fixing the segment at the driving lever in a position adjustable by an adjusting mechanism; the clamping elements are installed in the segment spaced from one another in the direction of the longitudinal dimension of the circular arcuate guidance.

  • Patent number: 4627528
Abstract: For the conveying of work pieces from one treatment step to the next and for release after the treatment, gripping devices are arranged at gripper rails that can be lifted and lowered wherein the lowest and the highest position of the gripper rails can be adjusted via a pulley that can be placed against cam parts carried along by the slide of the press, via a step-up gear and a lever system. The change of the gripping devices is to be carried out together with the tool change. For this purpose, the gripper rails are led into the lowest position, which position can be adjusted via a regulating means independently from the position of the slide.

  • Patent number: 4615203
Abstract: A one-armed ejection lever of a coining press is adapted to be controlled in one end section directly by the coining ram by way of a connecting rod and in the other end section by an operating piston-cylinder unit. The center portion of the ejection lever is placed by way of a pressure bolt against the projecting end of an ejection rod. The abutment pressure is produced by the operating piston-cylinder unit whereby the ejection coining die is able to yield by way of the ejection rod, for example, in case two pieces to be coined are in the coining tool in order to avoid damages. For multiple coining, it is additionally possible to act upon the operating piston cylinder unit in the opposite direction and to effect therewith an intentional lifting-off of the pressure bolt from the ejection rod.
