    Abstract: A pipet for dispensing liquids comprises a handle with a central bore, an operating shaft supported in the upper end of the handle for sliding movement in the bore, a rod supported coaxially within the bore for reciprocal movement along the handle axis and selectively coupled to the operating shaft when the shaft is moved downwardly in the bore, and a dispensing tip having a passage therethrough and a plunger supported for reciprocal movement in the passage.
