A set for simultaneous, separate or sequential administration, the set having a first cosmetic composition for topical application having, in a physiologically acceptable medium, at least one effective amount of a retinoid compound, and a second composition for oral administration, for reinforcing the skin tolerance of the individual treated with the first composition, the second composition having at least one carotenoid, at least one phytoestrogen and vitamin C.
