    Abstract: A molded instrument housing includes a top wall and a bottom wall slidably connected to a pair of opposed side walls or expanders to form a hollow housing with fastening means securing the various walls together by passing through vertical guide members on the side walls. Horizontal flanges are integral with the side walls and the guide members are molded to and extend from the flanges. Each flange includes a vertical opening which renders it adaptable for having a support member secured thereto. A novel handle construction is also provided.

    Abstract: A handle for tool boxes and the like includes an elongated strap having a pair of lugs at each end thereof each pair of which slides in lug nests in a respective end cover. The end covers are of thickened construction in the path of inward sliding motion to provide greater load carrying capability. The end covers include mounting structure for simplifying the assembly of the handle on the tool box or the like.
