Abstract: There is provided a portable light-emitting apparatus including: a near-field wireless communication unit for transmitting and receiving a light emission mode to and from another light-emitting apparatus; and a switching unit for starting control of the light-emitting apparatus according to the light emission mode received by the near-field wireless communication unit in response to a switching instruction originating from at least one of an action using the light-emitting apparatus and an action using another light-emitting apparatus. As one example, when a switching instruction is outputted by touching another light-emitting apparatus, it is possible for a plurality of light-emitting apparatuses to successively emit light in the manner of a torch relay.
