Abstract: The invention is a method for live broadcast based on HLS protocol and electronic device provided, wherein a M3U8 index list is downloaded from a sub-server and a program resource slice downloaded according to the M3U8 index list is played, after a master server redistributes another sub-server, the M3U8 index list and a program resource slice are downloaded from the new distributed sub-server; the program resource slice downloaded from the new sub-server is analyzed to acquire a PTS timestamp information in the downloaded slice; and the PTS timestamp information in the slice downloaded from the new sub-server is compared with the PTS timestamp information in the slice downloaded from the original sub-server, and it is determined whether the currently downloaded program resource slice is played according to the comparison result. It provides the users with a smooth watching experience of the live broadcast video in one's terminal device.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method and electronic device for palm center positioning, wherein the method for palm center positioning includes the following steps: firstly, acquires an image including a palm and an arm; then acquiring a connection area of the palm and the arm in the image based on skin color feature in the image; subsequently acquiring an exterior contour of the connection area, and clearly defining boundary of the connection area to eliminate errors; and finally acquiring palm center position information according to a maximum value of the shortest distance from each pixel point in the connection area within the exterior contour to the exterior contour. This disclosure is characterized by simple steps and high positioning accuracy.

Abstract: A control method of a network appliance, a network appliance, a mobile terminal and system are provided. The method comprises: monitoring whether a sound source used for video playing and a sound source used for video calls of the smart device operate simultaneously, wherein the sound source used for video calls comprises an input sound source and/or an output sound source; adjusting a video playing volume and/or video call volume according to a monitoring result. The method for automatically adjusting the volume under a picture by picture circumstance of the present disclosure is capable of automatically adjusting the video playing volume and the video call volume according to actual situations without manual intervention; therefore, the experience of users is enhanced.

Abstract: In the field of audio digital processing, an Android-based audio content processing method and device are provided. In an embodiment, the method includes: receiving, by a framework layer, audio content; identifying, by the framework layer, a type of the audio content, and adding an identifier associated with the type to the identified audio content; and receiving, by a hardware abstraction layer (HAL), audio content data and the identifier from the framework layer, and sending the audio content data to a processing unit corresponding to the identifier. In the embodiment, an Android framework layer is used to identify a type of audio content, and mark the type, and an HAL then sends, according to a mark, pulse coding modulation (PCM) data corresponding to the audio content to a processing unit corresponding to the type of the audio content, thereby implementing correct processing on audio content of different types.

Abstract: Disclosed are a gesture recognition method for virtual reality display output device and a virtual reality display output electronic device. The recognition method includes: acquiring first and second videos from first and second cameras respectively; separating first and second plane gestures associated with first and second plane information of first and second hand graphs in the first and second video from the first and second videos respectively; converting the first plane information and the second plane information into spatial information using a binocular imaging way, and generating a spatial gesture including the spatial information; acquiring an execution instruction corresponding to the spatial gesture; and executing the execution instruction. The embodiments of the present disclosure can recognize a three-dimensional gesture using an ordinary camera, so as to greatly reduce the cost and technical risks of the virtual reality display output device.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method, an electronic device, and a computer-readable medium for quickly searching video segments. The method includes: analyzing each frame at a server, setting a frame as a starting frame, and recording a time point when the starting frame appears; when the video feature appears in each frame following the staring frame, accumulating the number of the video feature until the video feature does not appear in an ending frame, and then forming a video segment; and when the video feature is selected at a client, acquiring, a list of the video feature appears from the server, and automatically searching a time point when the video feature appears in the video. Compared with a searching method regarding a fixed time point in the prior art, searching a video segment with respect to a specified video feature employed in the present disclosure is more convenient and quicker.

By employing the above technical solution of the present application, the appointed live programs can be reminded via the system alarm clock, so that an additional application is avoided being installed in a user terminal to remind an appointed program, thus greatly enhancing the convenience for the user to watch the live program and avoiding too much memory from being occupied in the meanwhile.
