Patents Assigned to L.G. Phillips LCD Co., Ltd.
  • Patent number: 7193842
Abstract: A method of mounting a liquid crystal display module thereof which secures an upper sash including the liquid crystal display module to a lower sash in a notebook personal computer. An arm coupled to one end of a fixed rod by a hinge is arranged to be positioned between a side wall of the upper sash and a side wall of the lower sash. A screw goes through from the side wall of the upper sash, via the arm, to the side wall of the liquid crystal display module.

  • Patent number: 7192627
Abstract: An amorphous silicon deposition method includes the step of forming a buffer layer on a transparent substrate; depositing amorphous silicon on the buffer layer by a thickness ranging from 600 to 2,000 angstroms; repeatedly irradiating the amorphous silicon layer to completely melt using a laser beam that has a complete melting energy density; and moving the laser beam by a transaction distance for the next laser beam irradiation.

  • Patent number: 6839096
Abstract: A liquid crystal display device with a repair structure that facilitates repair of a short circuit or an open circuit. In the device, a gate line is formed on an insulating substrate and a gate electrode is integral to the gate line. A semiconductor layer is formed on the gate electrode with having an insulating film therebetween. A data line is crossed with the gate electrode, and a source electrode is integral to the data line on the semiconductor layer and the gate electrode. A drain electrode is spaced oppositely the source electrode. A protective film has a first contact hole at the drain electrode. A pixel electrode is formed on the protective film and is connected, via the contact hole, to the drain electrode. The pixel electrode has an area overlapped partially with the data line and is spaced from the gate line by a desired length (?) at one or more corners thereof.
