Abstract: The invention relates to a storage device and a climate controlled cabinet with a storage assembly and a transport device. For minimizing the access times, the transport device can be arranged in the center of a rotating table. The storage assembly is arranged on the rotating table, which improves access. The climate controlled cabinet is provided with an automatic door at a wall, roof or bottom thereof.

Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for picking and placing small objects. It is equipped with a tool holder that can be positioned in an X-, Y- and Z-direction. A pickup tool is mounted to the tool holder and can be rotated about a vertical axis. A microscopic and a macroscopic camera with non-parallel axes are arranged on the tool holder for viewing the objects from above, and a lookup camera is provided to view the objects from below. The housing of the apparatus as well as a first movable frame are formed by perpendicular walls, which are light but provide stability for placing the tools accurately. An object dispenser is located below a transfer opening of a working platform of the apparatus for quick access to new objects. A control unit provides a graphical user interface for controlling the operation of the apparatus.

Abstract: The method described in this disclosure permits the production of dental replacements, such as inlays, onlays, and crowns, at high accuracy of fit and low cost in a single session of the patient's at the dentist's. For this purpose, a material that hardens is used for making a temporary inlay which provides an impression of the prepared dental cavity. After hardening, this material is removed from the tooth. In a first processing run, a first sensor (7a) does a preliminary scan of the temporary inlay (4) and a first processing tool (30a) is used for preliminary processing of the substrate mass (6). In a second processing run a second sensor (7b) and a second processing tool (30b) are used for a fine scan and fine processing. For this purpose the sensors (7a, 7b) and the processing tools (30a, 30b) are all arranged on a single linear stage (13).
