  • Patent number: 11788677
Abstract: A hanger hanging multiple display modules is provided. Each display module has at least one rolling receiving portion. The hanger includes a hanger base and a first hanging structure disposed on the hanger base and including at least one first hanging slot corresponding to the rolling receiving portion of the display module. A rolling receiving portion of a first display module passes through the first hanging slot to hang the first display module on the first hanging structure. The first hanging slot includes a first guide section extending along a first direction and a second guide section extending along a second direction. The second guide section is connected to the first guide section. The rolling receiving portion reaches a first position by guidance of the first guide section and a second position by guidance of the second guide section. A display device using the hanger is further provided.

  • Patent number: 9240135
Abstract: A system and method for color matching/chromaticity adjustment for a video screen, display panel, module or other component that comprises different batches of light emitting diodes (“LEDs”). The system and method do not alter the panel/module's RGB gain when adjusting saturation, luminance and hue. This way, the panels and modules can achieve a desired/targeted white balance. As such, different batches of LEDs can be set to the same RGB ratios to achieve proper color matching. Thus, the system and method can mix different batches of LEDs in the same video screen or wall, yet achieve uniformity across the screen/wall.

  • Patent number: 7336195
Abstract: This invention provides a light emitting array apparatus for use in a video screen display or lighting device incorporating a panel having a plurality of LEDs. Such a panel provides a plurality of LEDs on the front face of the panel in close thermal proximity to the panel. Typically this would include LEDs mounted to a PCB that is then affixed to the panel such that heat may transfer from the LEDs into the support panel itself. The support panel can disperse the heat throughout the panel and the to the surrounding air, especially from the front face of the panel. Such a construction may alleviate the need for fans or other cooling apparatus behind the panel and allow for the panel to be fitted directly to a supporting wall or other structure and also reduce cost and bulk of construction.

  • Patent number: 6507347
Abstract: This invention provides a method and apparatus to selectively compress digital image data for the supply of that information to digital display screens or storage. The invention utilizes a digital input containing a non-linear representation between the value and the intended intensity and linearizes this into a higher order number. If the higher order number is below at least a first threshold, it is transmitted or stored on a lower order data system noting that the higher order bits or channels should all be zero. If the higher order value is above the threshold, the highest order bits of that value are transmitted or stored on the lower order data system so that only the lowest order bits are lost. The received input from the lower order data system can then be decoded and the data sent to drive a digital display or otherwise utilized.
