Abstract: The file includes a binding body which is superimposed with a plurality of binding sheets, a curved retaining portion which is curved toward the direction of the pocket sheets as the binding body extending when opened the cover, a curved subsidiary portion which fixes its back into an optional form; the binding body is adjacently provided to the curved retaining portion by forming an arch-shape toward the direction of a front cover portion and back cover portion extending from the inner side of the spine portion and the curved retaining portion is connected with the width shorter than the width of the spine portion to the inner side of the curved subsidiary portion at the outer side of the curved retaining portion to enable the end edge adjacently provided on the binding body to curve.

Abstract: A binding device for files and binders in which rings to be inserted into binding holes of an object to be bound are openably and closeably secured to a base plate so as to be opened and closed by an opening-closing mechanism including a rotationally movable lever. In the binding device, a first ring member and a second ring member are configured such that they are interlocked with the opening-closing mechanism including the lever so as to be opened and closed about respective pivot portions and provided in the lower end thereof by rotationally moving the lever. In addition, the first ring member and the second ring member are secured in an opened state when opened, and the lever is secured such that the first ring member and the second ring member are maintained in the opened state.

In this binding device, the operating member includes a pair of operating pieces which move within the holding member in a longitudinal direction of the holding member. The base of one of the binding rings is secured to one of the operating piece, and the base of the other binding ring is secured to the other operating piece.

Abstract: A binder that can be opened/closed relatively easily by manually handling the tops of binding rings includes a holding member having a sufficient length to allow binding rings to be arranged with a spacing therebetween, and an operating member fixed movably to the inner side of the holding member such that the binding rings anchored to the surface thereof are fixed to the holding member. The operating member includes a pair of operating pieces movable along the longitudinal direction of the holding member within the holding member, and a pivot shaft formed along the abutting edges of the pair of operating pieces. Further, an opening/closing member is provided to move the operating pieces within the holding member in the longitudinal direction of the holding member while rotating the pair operating pieces around the pivot shaft in the directions to open the binding rings.
