    Abstract: A quick coupling device for bicyclists includes a plate permanently fixed below the sole of the shoe and a securement for the plate on the upper surface of the pedal. The securement includes a front cleat and a rear cleat movably mounted in a direction perpendicular to the axle of the pedal, and a control for the cleats. The control includes a hydraulic circuit integrated into the pedal and hydraulic control members disposed on the pedal and actuated by the plate.
