  • Patent number: 4592181
Abstract: The tension elements (4) of a tension member of steel are anchored at their ends in an anchor body (1), through whose bores (2) running parallel to one another are led, by means of wedge clamps (3). The diameter (D) of each bore (2) in its section (2c) is constant and larger than that (d) of the tension element (4). For the purpose of taking-up of deflecting forces, an elastically yielding ring (5) is provided for in the deflection region of the anchor body (1), which ring is accommodated in a circular recess (11) in the wall of the exit end (2b) of each bore (2). In the deflection region of the spreader ring (9), where the tension elements (4) run together into a bunch, an insert (10) is provided for, the material of which is softer than that of the spreader ring (9) or of the tension elements (4). Likewise the material of the ring (5) is softer than the material of the anchor body (1) or of the tension elements (4).

  • Patent number: 4562679
Abstract: The holder exhibits a basic part (16), consisting of a bottom part (5) and two longitudinal side parts (6), and a flexible cover part (7). The individual parts (5, 6, 7) of the holder are detachably interconnected by means of snap fasteners (8). The cover part (7) is provided with opposing slots (11) extending from its longitudinal edges. Second sections (14b) of the connecting bars (14) are introduced into the slots (11), the slots (11) closely surrounding the second sections (14b) of the connecting bars (14). The individual parts (5, 6, 7) are easy to assemble and disassemble. At least the longitudinal side parts (6) are reusable. By means of snap fasteners (8), a simple detachable connection of the parts (5, 6, 7) is provided.

  • Patent number: 4480943
Abstract: Apparatus comprising a vehicle such as a sledge containing a reel, bin, or the like, holding casing material folded flat, is disposed for travel immediately over an underwater object or piece ground to be covered and is towed by a surface vessel. Situated behind the supply of casing material, relative to the direction of travel, is a table comprising two hinged parts sloping down toward the bottom of the body of water, the lower of the two table parts being arranged to slide over the object or piece of ground to be covered. Concrete of plastic consistence coming from the surface vessel by means of a pressure hose is injected into the casing sliding over the table, the nozzle of the hose being inserted through an opening between the two edges of the casing material. This opening, which may be formed in a zipper by means of two zipper slides, is then closed by joining the two long edges to form the casing.

  • Patent number: 4419852
Abstract: A preserving element (5) formed as a synthetic material mould part has preserving troughs (6) in which the bent end sections (3b) of connecting bars (3), later to be bent out, are embedded with a brittle mass (7). The device has the advantage that after the anchoring of the connecting bars (at 3a) in the structural member (2), the element (5) and the mass (7) can be easily removed. The device forms an easily transported and handled structural unit which is usable in the production of construction joints of steel concrete structures of any kind.

  • Patent number: 4150473
Abstract: An anchor on a tendon twisted of a number of steel wires has at least one double-cone widening, the biggest diameter of which is at least three times bigger than the diameter of the unfanned tendon part. The method for producing the anchor comprises seizing the tendon on two spaced apart places and bulging it between these places to form a widening. On the frame of the device for carrying out the above method there are provided two means for seizing the tendon on two places spaced apart whereby one of the means is actuated to exert an axial load on the tendon.

  • Patent number: 4114242
Abstract: Apparatus for gripping one or more tapered segmented grips by means of which tensioning members consisting of wires or strands are anchored in an anchor block. For the purpose of detensioning the tensioned members the apparatus is installed between the anchor block and the tensioning jack. The apparatus comprises a body with a number of slotted cylindrical gripping means the number of which corresponds to the number of the tensioning members passing therethrough. The gripping means are coaxial with the tensioning members.

  • Patent number: 4103618
Abstract: Method and means for extracting a soil anchor consisting of a prestressed steel tendon anchored in a soil comprising introducing an explosive in a tube placed in the center of said steel tendon, detonating and blasting said explosive, by which explosion the hardened anchorage surrounding the lower part of said anchor is loosened, and pulling the whole length of the loosened anchor out of the soil.

  • Patent number: 4079486
Abstract: An apparatus for anchoring a ring tensioning member in a circular container, especially a concrete tank or a concrete tube, characterized by a hemispherical anchorage body being located in a recess in the wall thickness of the container in overhung position having on its circumference at least one slot and through bores for a bracing cable. The bracing cable which has been inserted in the wall of said container and prestressed by a stretching mechanism will be anchored in said anchorage body, whereafter the recess will be covered in such a way as to be in alignment with the surface of said container.
