Abstract: A high-breathability hand glove for use over a bicycle handlebar by a cyclist, said glove including an exposed perforated palm area (12) and a few cushioning pads (16, 18) surrounding said palm area, said cushioning pads (16, 18) being closedly spaced from one another so as to define at least a few air channels being formed radially therebetween, said air channels for evacuating bodily moisture escaping from said perforated palm area, each one of said air channels (20, 22) destined to be narrower than the diameter of the bicycle handlebar so that the bicycle handlebar cannot close said air channels upon the hand globe hand engaging the bicycle handlebar.
Abstract: The ventilated shoe comprises an outer sole and at least two interchangeable inner soles. The inner sole in disposed in contact with and over the outer sole. The outer sole has ventilation ports at the toe portion and at the heel portion. The ventilation ports extend trough the entire thickness of the outer sole. A support is provided to spacedly rest the inner sole over the outer sole in a manner to allow air to penetrate through the ventilation ports and to circulate between the outer sole and the inner sole. The inner sole may be air permeable and is used when the temperature is medium to high. Under cold temperature it is preferable to use an impermeable inner sole.
Abstract: A bicycle helmet that allows ventilation to a cyclist head. The helmet comprises a hard internal shell, a hard external shell, and a shock absorbing foam insert located between the internal and external shells. The helmet consists of a generally open concave structure having a number of fore and aft extending structural arms, transversely spaced from one another and merging with an annular bottom edge rim at both their fore and aft ends. Each structural arm forms a U-shape in cross-section, for reinforcing the helmet structure. The shock absorbing foam of the insert engages with the grooves formed by these cross-sectionally U-shape structural arms. Air ventilation passages are formed in between each pair of successive U arms, extending through corresponding openings in the shock absorbing insert and through the open mouth formed by the annular internal shell. The radius of curvature of the structural arms is greater than that of the shock absorbing insert.
Abstract: A glove provided with a releasable strap system for securing the glove body to a user's hand. The releasable strap system comprises a strap component and a wrist anchor component. The anchor component is able to slidably engage a wrist strap member of the strap component. The strap system releasably secures the glove body to the user's hand such that simultaneouslyi) the wrist strap member is contracted about a user's wrist andii) a backhand strap member of the strap component is diagonally tensioned across the back face of the glove body such that said central component is contracted about the user's hand.
