Abstract: A therapeutic preparation for the transdermal application of active substances through the skin comprising additives causing an increase in the percutaneous absorption rate of active substances which can normally only insufficiently be absorbed transdermally is characterized by the fact that the additives are HMG-CoA-reductase-inhibitors.

Abstract: A method of applying a layer-form active ingredient depot with delayed release of active ingredients to plants or plant parts, having at least one pressure-sensitively adhering matrix layer (A) which comprises active ingredient and is in two-dimensional contact with the plant surface, and one back layer (B) which is essentially free from and impermeable to active ingredient and is on the side remote from the plant is characterized in that the layer (A) is produced by painting in the desired two-dimensional pattern at the site of application on the plant from a spreadable, pressure-sensitively adhering, polymer-based composition which comprises active ingredient and then on the said layer (A) the layer (B) is produced by painting or spraying.

Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for the controlled delivery or release of nitroglycerin to the human or animal skin, preferably in plaster form with a nitroglycerin-impermeable backing layer, a one or multiple-part reservoir containing a pressure sensitive adhesive nitroglycerin in uniform or irregular distribution and optionally a removable protective layer impermeable for nitroglycerin, the reservoir being produced using hol melt pressure sensitive adhesives with a processing temperature of 40.degree. to 80.degree. C., preferably 40.degree. to 60.degree. C. and in particularly preferred manner 40.degree. to 45.degree. C., a process for the production thereof and the use of the apparatus for therapeutic purposes in human and veterinary medicine.
