Patents Assigned to Lumberg Automation Components GmbH & Co. KG
  • Patent number: 6884105
Abstract: Connector (1) for fitting onto a counter connector (2), has a core portion (4) with a contact (3) for inserting into a sleeve (7) of the counter connector (2). The sleeve is provided with a latching step (5), and has a counter contact (6). The core portion is surrounded at a radial spacing by a collar (8), which has a latching first bead (9) for engaging over the latching step. The collar is surrounded in turn by a locking coupling (10), which in a release position allows slight radial displacement of the latching bead and in a locking position blocks the radial displacement. There is an axial continuation (11) of the collar which can escape axially in the release position and is blocked from escaping in the locking position. The continuation has a radially inner latching second bead (12).

  • Patent number: 6749454
Abstract: A plug-in connection comprising a connector (1) for fitting onto a counter connector (2), contact elements (3) of the connector (1) entering into an electrical conducting connection with counter contact elements (4) of the counter connector (2), with a sleeve (7) which surrounds the contact elements (3) carried by a core (K) and forms a snap collar (18) for gripping behind a latching bead (27, 28) of the counter connector (2) and with a locking coupling (5) which is displaceable in the plugging direction and which, in a release position, allows radial escape of the snap collar (18) and, in a locking position, prevents it, the core (K) being made of a harder plastic than a casing (17) surrounding the core (K) with a spacing and forming a sleeve portion (7) which has peripheral interruptions (8 and 9) and on the inside of which the snap collar (18) of softer plastic is formed integrally with the casing (17).

  • Patent number: 6652293
Abstract: An electrical connector is used in combination with an electrical circuit board having an active element and formed with a row of throughgoing contact holes and a multiconductor cable having a plurality of wires each having a core conductor. The connector has a dielectric body formed with a row of parallel and outwardly open contact seats, a row of parallel and outwardly open wire seats aligned with and extending transversely across the contact seats, and an outwardly open pocket traversed by the contact seats and dimensioned to hold the circuit board with its holes aligned with the contact seats. Respective contacts in the contact seats each have a pointed tip engaged through the respective hole of the board in the seat and poking in the respective wire seat into the respective wire and into contact with the conductor thereof.
