  • Patent number: 7438587
Abstract: A multipolar electrical connector with spring contacts has, for each conductor to be joined to the connector, a first substantially cylindrical aperture adapted to receive the conductor and a second aperture, parallel to the first aperture, adapted to receive an actuator pin which, sliding in the second aperture, according to its position acts on a spring contact of the connector to lock the conductor to the connector or to release it from the connector. When the conductor is blocked in the connector by the spring contact, the actuator pin is inserted completely into the connector.

  • Patent number: 5291670
Abstract: A process for baking electrically conductive wires clad in insulating plastics resin, comprising a first, evaporation stage for evaporation of solvents and a second resin polymerization and cross-linking stage, which are performed respectively in a first and in a second region of a tunnel chamber in a continuous oven between the inlet regions and outlet regions of which the wires advance, a third stage comprising aspiration from the oven of a mixture of air and solvents formed during the first evaporation stage, and a fourth stage comprising heating this mixture to a predetermined temperature such as to cause combustion of the solvents, and including a fifth stage of introducing heat energy to these regions of the oven from at least part of the stream of air and combustion products coming from the fourth stage, through heat exchangers disposed on the outer surface of this tunnel chamber, in such a way as significantly to reduce the introduction of heat energy provided to the chamber by heating means supplied

  • Patent number: 4938689
Abstract: A furnace for firing an enamel-insulated wire comprising a principal cham, an auxiliary unit for withdrawing a first stream of air and solvent vapors from this principal chamber for effecting combustion of the vapors themselves. A part of a second stream leaving the auxiliary unit is mixed with a volume of air at ambient temperature and passed to the principal chamber; another part is sent to a heat exchanger in which it gives up part of its thermal energy to a second volume of air at ambient temperature which is heated and introduced into the principal chamber.

  • Patent number: 4631895
Abstract: In a cartoning machine which wraps cartons about preformed blocks of objects, it is proposed to insert a new carton one after the other into the block feed line before the preceding carton has left the insertion zone, with temporary partial overlap of the cartons, so as to reduce the distance between the successive fed blocks. Furthermore, in the insertion station, the blocks of objects are fed by transverse bars carried in a projecting manner from a chain conveyor disposed entirely on that side of the feed line opposite the side from which the cartons are inserted.
