Abstract: A device can be applied to a lifting and/or transporting unit for the controlled support of loads by generating a vacuum in one or more suction pads. The device includes a vacuum gauge measuring the vacuum level in at least one of the suction pads and safely controlling movement of the device. A safety system prevents erroneous dropping of the suspended load. The suction pads for gripping the load can be mounted on a holding frame which can be changed and/or lengthened for accommodating various types of loads.
Abstract: In the method and equipment, the yarn support outer surface is drawn by means of a suitably sized die ring adapted to retain and slide the reeling waste all along the yarn support outer surface and strip the reeling waste therefrom. Suitable cutters operate on reeling waste, before the drawing thereof, in order to reduce the volume of reeling waste to be drawn and stripped.
Abstract: A yarn bobbin and a method for manufacturing the same, wherein the yarn bobbin includes a tubular hollow core with beads fitted or formed at both ends thereof, and which cooperate with core inserts to house, center and removably secure bobbin flanges. Preferably, the beads are formed by inwardly curling the ends of the metallic core, and the flanges are secured by screws engaging with threaded holes formed through the beads and at least in partially into the core inserts.
Abstract: A yarn winding bobbin and a method for manufacturing the same, wherein a core element and two end flanges are removably secured, said flanges and core element being separately and independently statically and dynamically balanced before assembling the bobbin. The core element carries head bodies secured within its open ends, that are adapted to center the flanges and are made in a suitably soft material to allow for the driving thereinto of nail-shaped balancing weights.
