Abstract: A method of producing a hollow electroformed product of precious metal includes the steps of forming a hollow soluble metal electroformed layer soluble in an inorganic acid on the outer surface of a master model formed of a low melting point material or a chemically soluble material soluble in a chemical, melting or dissolving and removing the master model from inside the soluble metal electroformed layer, coating the outer surface of the remaining soluble metal electroformed layer with a masking layer, forming a precious metal electroformed layer on the inner surface of the soluble metal electroformed layer, stripping the masking layer, and dissolving the soluble metal electroformed layer with inorganic acid.
Abstract: With the centrifugal casting apparatus, the rotating arm is never loosened to thereby obtain good casting quality even if rapid variation in speed is generated upon rotating of the rotating arm at high speed. The centrifugal casting apparatus is provided with a rotating shaft 51, a rotating arm 1 fixed to the shaft 51, a crucible 3, a mold 4 and the like provided at one end of the arm 1, and a balance weight 2 provided at the other end. The apparatus is provided with arm fixing bolts 12a, 12b for fixing the arm 1 to the shaft 51 and positioned so as to be deviated from the rotational center 15 of the shaft 51. The rotating shaft 51 is provided with fulcrum pins 18a, 18b serving as fulcrum for balance of the arm 1. The fulcrum pins 18a, 18b protrude from the shaft 51 when the balance of the arm 1 is adjsted, and retract into the shaft 51 when the arm 1 and the shaft 51 are fixed.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a wax mold holding and positioning apparatus for use with a wax injector machine where a pressure holding means uniformly clamps a two piece wax mold together and a mold positioning means is employed to move said mold to said wax injector, said apparatus including universal coupling means adapted to make any final angular shifting or adjustment to assure a firm sealing contact of a sprue hole in said mold with the wax injector to force wax through a channel in the mold to a pattern cavity therein.
Abstract: A mounting device and sight support adapted to be mounted to the side of the handle of an archery bow including a mounting bracket fixed to the bow having a plurality of mounting positions vertically spaced one from the other and in vertical alignment. Attached to the mounting bracket is an elongated attachment member which extends horizontally or normal to the vertical plane of the mounting bracket and the elongated attachment member is horizontally shiftable on the bracket and includes a sight support for receiving a sight elevation adjustment mechanism which support is mounted normally vertical to the axis of the elongated attachment member. The elongated attachment member may be releasably mounted on any one of the vertical mounting positions of the mounting bracket dependent upon the distance the archer is from the target. The mounting device and sight support is reversible and may be mounted on the opposite sides of the bow depending upon whether the archer is right or left handed.
