Abstract: A system for providing adjunct content into a video stream based on significant events, audience data, user data, and program content data. The system includes a server configured to host an analyzer and a broadcast engine. The analyzer is configured to receive event data associated with a program and to analyze the event data to detect a triggering event based on detection criteria. In response to detection of the triggering event, the analyzer is configured to select adjunct content to be provided with the program based on selection criteria. The selection criteria includes at least one of a triggering event type of the triggering event or a program content type of the program. The broadcast engine is configured to transmit the selected adjunct content along with program content of the program to a device associated with a user of an audience of the program.
