Abstract: A bottle crushing system for breaking apart bottles into fragments includes an enclosure having an upper component containing region and a lower glass receptacle region separated from one another by a support panel. A crushing assembly includes a drive and a rotating crusher element operably connected thereto. The drive is disposed above the support panel, within the upper component containing region and the rotating crusher element is disposed below the support panel within the lower glass receptacle region. A chute assembly has an entrance opening in the enclosure for introducing bottles to the crushing system and traverses through an opening in the support panel. The chute system has a discharge at the crusher element that is positioned immediately above the rotational path of the crusher element. The chute system includes a pair of baffle element sets.

Abstract: A chair with one or more easily removable pieces and a method for disassembling the same. The chair preferably includes a seat section, a back section, and a concealed back-releasing mechanism. The back-releasing mechanism includes a connecting bracket, attached to the seat section, wherein the connecting bracket includes a protruding portion, and a receiving bracket concealed in the back section and that includes a recessed portion that receives the protruding portion of the connecting bracket. The chair may also include a seat section, a back section connected to the seat section, a cushion, and a concealed cushion-releasing mechanism. The cushion-releasing mechanism preferably comprises at least one slot in the seat section, wherein the slot is defined by the seat section and extends through the seat section and at least one tongue, wherein the tongue protrudes from the cushion and extends through the slot.

Abstract: A quick release extrusion bracket with a lock is provided. The quick release extrusion bracket secures a chair, stool, seat, etc. with a base plate at the end of a supporting post, leg, etc. to a floor. The quick release extrusion bracket enables the quick and easy release of the base plate from the bracket, thereby facilitating the simple and quick removal of the chair, stool, seat, etc. The lock enables the base plate to be locked to the bracket so that it may not be removed by a patron or other person without an appropriate tool or key.

Abstract: An improved binder for sheet material. The binder includes a cover or backing member formed of paperboard or plastic, and a pair of hinge assemblies are attached to the inner surface of the cover. A standard binding mechanism is interconnected between the hinge assemblies and serves to retain the sheet material. Each hinge assembly includes a metal hinge plate that is secured flatwise to the cover by a plurality of stamped out prongs. Each prong is generally triangular in configuration and is provided with a curved pointed tip. The prongs have a length substantially greater than the thickness of the backing member and when embedded by pressure, the configuration of the prongs causes the prongs to curl within the cover, so that the prongs are completely embedded in the cover and not exposed on the outer surface of the cover.
