  • Patent number: 11591261
Abstract: A method for bonding glass components and the resulting glass assemblies produced by the same. A mixture containing a catalyst and a resin is provided that when combined forms an index-matching optical adhesive. At least one of the catalyst or the resin is encapsulated. The mixture is applied to a glass component. A second glass component is placed on the mixture so that the mixture is interposed between the glass components without breaking the encapsulation. The mixture is exposed to ultraviolet light causing the capsules to release the portions contained therein and combine to form an adhesive.

  • Patent number: 11526044
Abstract: Systems and methods for modifying display unit operations based on orientation are provided. A controller receives orientation data from an orientation detection device and commands operations of a thermal management system based, at least in part, on the received orientation data. A solar angle relative to the electronic display may be determined based on a location, a date, a time, and the orientation data. Cooling may be modified based on solar angle relative to the electronic display. The orientation data may be used to check installation, determine damage, or position of display unit components.

  • Patent number: 11293908
Abstract: A display assembly which detects abnormal operating conditions, such as gas recirculation or airway occlusion, is provided. An electronic display is located within a housing. An airflow pathway travels through the housing and is configured to accept, circulate, and exhaust air by way of one or more fans. One or more sensors measure characteristics of the air. Weather conditions for a location of the display assembly are gathered, measurements from the sensors are received, and a determination is made as to whether the measurements of the ingested air are within a margin of error expected measurements derived from the gathered weather conditions. An alert is generated if the measurements of the ingested air are not within the margin of error.
