Abstract: Provided is a plant pathogen control agent that is used to control plant pathogens on plants and is a novel method for using cellulose nanofibers. The plant pathogen control agent is a plant pathogen control agent containing plant-derived cellulose nanofibers as active ingredient, in which a surface of a nanofiber-coated layer to be formed by sparging or spraying the plant pathogen control agent onto the foliage or the stems of the plants and then by drying the plant pathogen control agent has hydrophilicity. Examples of the cellulose nanofibers include a plant-derived nanofiber material selected from the group consisting of gramineous plants, broadleaf trees, and needleleaf trees. Examples of the plants to be an application target include cabbage plants, soybean plants, tomato plants, tobacco plants, or coffee tree seedlings. In addition, examples of the plant pathogens to be a control target include causative bacterium, rust fungi, or pathogenic fungi.

  • Publication number: 20200407893
Abstract: A sock (1) comprises a heel part (H) between a tubular leg part (L) and a tubular sole part (S), which comprises mesh-number varying regions (V1-V6) arranged along a knitting axis (K), and tubular regions (C1-C5) arranged between the mesh-number varying regions. The mesh-number varying regions include an upper region (V1), a lower region (V6), and intermediate regions (V2-V5). The number of courses of the upper region (CV1) is smaller than the number of courses of the lower region (CV6) and the number of courses of the intermediate regions (CV2-CV5). The mesh-number varying regions are constituted by mesh-number increasing regions (V1, V3, V5) and mesh-number reducing regions (V2, V4, V6) alternatingly arranged along the knitting axis. The number of courses of the tubular regions (CC1-CC5) is smaller than the number of courses of the mesh-number varying regions (CV1-CV6).

  • Patent number: 4223044
Abstract: A bridge of particulate and ground food, feed and inorganic substances, such as soybean meal, corn meal, flour, cement and the like in a storage vessel is broken by reducing the internal pressure of the vessel and introducing inert gas under pressure of from atmosphere to up to 10 kg/cm.sup.2 to impart impact for breaking the bridge of the particulate and ground substances. After discharge of the particulate and ground substances from the storage vessel, the matter sticking to the internal walls of the vessel can be removed by again reducing pressure and giving impact of introduced atmosphere or pressurized gas. Further, the internal pressure of the closed storage vessel is reduced prior to injecting fumigant gas and thereafter by introducing inert gas the internal pressure is brought to normal pressure to improve fumigation of the substances.

  • Patent number: 3999646
Abstract: A conveyor system, adapted to move a cylindrical belt carrying therein a material, particularly a granular or powdered material, the cylindrical belt being suspended by hangers from wire ropes, further comprising driving means adapted to drive a set of pulleys and wheels, and belt disengageable means for disengaging the cylindrical belt from said hangers at loading and unloading stations in the path of travel thereof. The belt and the rope are driven in synchronously interlocking relation so that both the belt and the rope are equally loaded, thereby avoiding displacement in position between them during operation.
