Patent number: 10752463Abstract: A traversing element is provided for a spinning machine that produces a roving. The traversing element includes a guide segment disposed to guide the roving onto a surface of a tube or a roving bobbin, and a support segment. The guide segment is configured at an end of the support segment and an opposite end of the support segment is connectable to a support of the spinning machine. A closed cavity is provided in the traversing element, the closed cavity partially filled with a liquid. Heat that occurs in the guide segment due to friction between the guide segment and the roving when the traversing element is operating is absorbed by the liquid.Type: GrantFiled: May 11, 2015Date of Patent: August 25, 2020Assignee: MASCHINEFABRIK RIETER AGInventors: Jiri Stech, Petr Haska

Patent number: 9708151Abstract: A device and a method for winding a roving onto bobbin tubes using a turret winding head is provided. The turret winding head has a turret base plate having a first and a second spindle that are held in the turret base plate and are provided for receiving the bobbin tubes. The turret base plate and the spindles are each provided with their own drive. The longitudinal axes of the spindles are aligned in the vertical direction.Type: GrantFiled: June 29, 2012Date of Patent: July 18, 2017Assignee: Maschinefabrik Rieter AGInventor: Christian Griesshammer

Publication number: 20080190090Abstract: An air jet spinning machine for producing spun threads from staple fiber strands includes a number of spinning positions, to each of which compressed air nozzles are arranged for the purpose of generating the spinning twist. A joint compressed air regulator is connected upstream of the spinning positions, which regulator includes a pressure sensor and a regulating device. The compressed air regulator is set at a reference pressure, which corresponds to the unregulated static pressure prevailing when all spinning positions are in operation. In the case of a change in the static pressure, the compressed air regulator re-adjusts to the reference pressure.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 18, 2005Publication date: August 14, 2008Applicant: Maschinefabrik Rieter AGInventor: Gernot Schaeffler

Publication number: 20020152583Abstract: The present invention relates to the application of fiber length measurement in the blowroom or carding room of a spinning mill. A method and an apparatus in a textile processing machine are described and claimed in which before and/or after a working element of the textile processing machine the nep count and/or the fiber length (staple) is determined, with an open-loop/closed-loop control unit being provided which receives the said values for the fiber length and/or the nep count as input values and determines therefrom the optimized machine setting data and outputs the same to at least one actuator of a working element which influences the nep count and/or the staple of the textile processing machine.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 22, 2001Publication date: October 24, 2002Applicant: Maschinefabrik Rieter AGInventors: Jurg Bischofberger, Gotz Theodor Gresser, OLivier Wuest, Christian Sauter, Jurg Faas, Peter Artzt, Volker Jehle, Hermann Maidel

Publication number: 20020035770Abstract: In a nozzle (10) for the treatment of threads, being divided in conveying direction in a conveying part (14), a compression section (16) and a guiding part (18), the compression section (16), for the purpose of forming a yarn plug, basically comprises fixedly arranged, towards each other radially and axially directed lamellar, whereat the ends of the lamellar (28) which face the guiding part, are neither in contact with each other nor with any surrounding parts of the nozzle (10), so that fibers which are being located in the gaps between the lamellar (28), and which radially exit the channel being formed by the lamellar (28), can reach an inlet funnel (18a) of the guiding part (18) or a plug guide tube (18) respectively, without colliding with any edges.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 22, 2001Publication date: March 28, 2002Applicant: Maschinefabrik Rieter AGInventor: Armin Wirz

Publication number: 20020033222Abstract: Filamentous textile structures are produced from a quasi continuous planar nonwoven (1) by subjecting the nonwoven (1) to fluid-dynamic forces, namely in such a way that the nonwoven (1) is split up longitudinally into a plurality of parallel slivers (3) and the fiber structure of the nonwoven (1) is bonded in the slivers. For the treatment with fluid-dynamic forces, the nonwoven (1) is placed for example against a treatment template (10) which is structured in a strip-like manner by perforations (11) and elevations (12) and fine water, saturated steam or air jets (13) are directed against the nonwoven (1) and the template (10). The slivers produced during the treatment with the fluid-dynamic forces can be processed without any further treatment into a planar textile structures or they can be subjected to a further treatment prior to said processing in order to increase their strength.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 23, 2001Publication date: March 21, 2002Applicant: Maschinefabrik Rieter AGInventors: Peter Anderegg, Christian Griesshammer
