Patents Assigned to Mayfonk Athletic, LLC
  • Patent number: 11622721
Abstract: An athletic performance streaming system comprises a sensor system configured to removably attach to an article of clothing worn by an athlete and one or more external devices. The sensor system comprises one or more sensors configured to measure one or more athletic performance parameters for the athlete and a computing unit configured to monitor and transmit the one or more athletic performance parameters. The one or more external devices is remote from the article of clothing. The sensor system is configured to stream the one or more athletic performance parameters in real time to the one or more external devices.

  • Patent number: 11013464
Abstract: A computer implemented method comprises receiving, during a sporting event, raw data at a processor connected to a fantasy sports league network or gambling network. The raw data includes one or more athletic performance parameters that correspond to a physical movement of an athlete. The method further comprises computing in real time at the processor, during the sporting event, performance assessments for the athlete based on the athletic performance parameters. The performance assessments correspond specifically to an activity of the sporting event, and indicate a peak athletic performance parameter for the athlete. The method further comprises transmitting, during the sporting event, a signal from the processor to one or more subscriber devices connected to a fantasy sports league network or gambling network. The signal enables a display of the one or more performance assessments or athletic performance parameters on the subscriber devices.

  • Patent number: 10888275
Abstract: A system and method for tracking athletic movements, the system has one or more sensors, a computing unit, and external computing devices. The sensors generate electrical signals descriptive of detected physical movement of an athlete during a sporting event. The computing unit obtains the electrical signals generated by the sensors in real time. The computing unit determines athletic performance parameters in real time based on the electrical signals. The computing unit also computes performance assessments for the athlete based on the performance parameters. The performance assessments correspond specifically to a sport of the sporting event and indicate a peak athletic performance metric for the athlete.

  • Patent number: 10610761
Abstract: An athletic performance measuring unit can measure numerous athletic performance parameters for an athlete either during practice or during competition. The measured parameters may be used by the athlete to evaluate the improvement in their performance as well as compare their level of performance against peers. The athletic performance measuring unit can also be configure to transmit the sensed sensor data to a personal processing unit, such as a smart device, for calculation of one or more athletic performance parameters. The calculated athletic performance parameters can be transmitted by the PPU to other electronic devices of those fans interested in following the athletic performance of a particular athlete, group of athletes, and/or team. Further, the athletic performance measuring unit can be configured to be integrated with the display system of an arena or stadium such that the athletic performance parameters can be displayed on the scoreboard of the arena.

  • Patent number: 10531137
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for collecting various types of data relating to a sporting event and processing the collected data to improve a broadcast of the sporting event to remote devices. A performance measuring device may be integrated, constructed, weaved or placed, for example, in or on the clothes of athletes that participate in the sporting event. The performance measuring device then monitors real-time motion data and positional information of each athlete within an area associated with the sporting event.

  • Patent number: 10293207
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for computing real-time athletic performance parameters that characterize an athlete's activity while participating in a sport. A system includes a performance measuring unit that is, for example, attached to an article of clothing of an athlete and that monitors movement and activity while the athlete participates in the sport. The performance measuring unit can include multiple types of activity-based sensors (e.g., an accelerometer, a magnetometer, and/or a gyroscope) that are configured to collect sensor data reflective of positional changes of the performance measuring unit. The computing unit of the performance measuring unit processes the collected sensor data in real-time using specified techniques to identify the occurrence of “events,” which refer to a particular time periods during which the collected sensor data are associated with movements of interest (e.g., movements associated with a high intensity action).

  • Patent number: 10070817
Abstract: A performance measuring system integrated with an article of clothing, the system has a computing unit for coordinating, processing and transmission of sensor data connected to a bus and an antenna. A sensor for measuring performance characteristics is connected to the bus; the bus facilitates transmission and reception of control and data values between the computing unit and the sensor. Also, an antenna is connected to the computing unit for communicating with other computing devices and transmission of sensor data. The other computing devices display the sensor data to a user or forward the sensor data onto another communication media such as the internet or interactive television. A social networking system sharing athletic statistics using a webservice, a personal processing unit connectible to the webservice, and a computing unit having an activity program for at least one sensor. This system has an activity update service integrally associated with the webservice.
