  • Patent number: 11973719
Abstract: Various solutions pertaining to mechanisms for feedback of multiple HARQ procedures in a same slot in mobile communications are described. An apparatus receives a plurality of downlink (DL) transmissions from a network node of a wireless network. The apparatus constructs a feedback containing a plurality of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgements (HARQ-ACKs) for the plurality of DL transmissions. The apparatus then performs an uplink (UL) transmission of the feedback to the network node in a slot comprising a plurality of sub-slots, with each of the plurality of HARQ-ACKs being in a respective one of the plurality of sub-slots in the slot.

  • Patent number: 11973707
Abstract: Various schemes pertaining to distributed-tone resource unit (RU) operation in 6 GHz low-power indoor (LPI) systems are described. A communication entity distributes frequency tones of a resource unit (RU) over a distribution bandwidth as a distributed-tone RU (dRU). The communication entity then communicates using the distributed-tone RU in a 6 GHz low-power indoor (LPI) system. In some cases, the dRU is distributed over an entire bandwidth. Alternatively, the dRU operation is implemented per frequency segment. Alternatively, the dRU co-exists with regular or localized RU.

  • Publication number: 20240137197
Abstract: A push-start crystal oscillator (XO), an associated electronic device and a push-start method for performing a start-up procedure of an XO are provided. The push-start XO includes an inverting amplifier and a push-start logic control circuit, wherein the inverting amplifier is coupled to a crystal load. The inverting amplifier generates a first XO signal and a second XO signal. The push-start logic control circuit receives a feedback clock from a phase locked loop (PLL), and generates a phase control clock according to the feedback clock, wherein a push phase and a settle phase are specified by the phase control clock. During the settle phase, the PLL calibrates a frequency of the feedback clock according to the second XO signal. During the push phase, the feedback clock is transmitted to the inverting amplifier in order to increase the amplitude of the first XO signal.

  • Patent number: 11967377
Abstract: A content addressable memory (CAM) device includes multiple CAM sub-banks Each CAM sub-bank includes an array of CAM cells arranged in rows and columns and partitioned into a first stage and a second stage along a column dimension. Each CAM sub-bank further includes first-stage match lines (MLs), first-stage search line (SL) pairs, second-stage MLs, and second-stage SL pairs. Each second-stage SL pair is coupled to a column of CAM cells in the second stage and is gated by an SL enable (SL_EN signal). Each CAM sub-bank further includes a circuit operative to receive all of the first-stage MLs as input and de-assert the SL_EN signal when none of the first-stage MLs indicate a match. De-assertion of the SL_EN signal blocks a second portion search key from being provided to the second-stage SL pairs.

  • Patent number: 11963100
Abstract: Power management operations are performed by devices communicating using multiple bands simultaneously where a first wireless band can be used to send and receive power management control frames for use on a second wireless band of a wireless network. In this way, a device that is in a sleep or dose power management state on a first band can be instructed to enter an awake power management state on the first band based on a communication received over a second band that is currently active and receiving data. Embodiments of the present invention enable power to be conserved when a band is not currently being used, or when there is no more data available (buffered) for a specific band.

  • Patent number: 11949249
Abstract: A wireless power transmitter may receive a request from a wireless power receiver to perform recalibration for a first type of foreign object detection (FOD) in response to the wireless power receiver attempting to change an electromagnetic parameter supplied by the wireless power transmitter. In response to receiving the request, the wireless power transmitter may perform a second type of FOD to produce a FOD result. When the FOD result indicates a foreign object is present or likely present, the wireless power transmitter may discontinue or limit wireless power transfer, and/or communicate the FOD result to the wireless power receiver. When the FOD result indicates a foreign object is not present or likely not present, the wireless power transmitter may communicate the FOD result to the wireless power receiver, perform the recalibration and continue with wireless power transfer.
