Abstract: A convertible air cleaner comprising an elongated enclosure forming an internal cavity. A first opening is at one end of the enclosure and a second opening is at an opposed end of the enclosure and with the openings oriented substantially at 180.degree. from each other. A support structure holds the elongated enclosure at a substantially center axis between said first and second openings. A pivot permits rotation about said center axis between said first and second openings through an arc of at least 180.degree.. An air filter is contained within the enclosure and a fan is positioned within the enclosure for drawing air through said first opening through the internal cavity for filtration by the air filter for exiting to the exterior of the enclosure through the second opening.

Abstract: suspended air purifier fixture including, a radially-symmetrical enclosure forming an internal cavity and including a peripheral surface having a plurality of circumferential openings and a lower surface with a central opening perpendicular and adjacent to the peripheral surface. A centrifugal fan is located within the enclosure and is coaxial with the central opening. An intake assembly is coaxial with the central opening and includes a vane for directing an intake flow of air through the assembly and into the enclosure through the central opening. An air filter is circumferentially disposed relative to the fan and occupies the space between the vane and the peripheral surface. An output grille covers the circumferential openings to have an exhaust air flow perpendicular to the intake thorugh the central opening. Suspension means are located at the surface of the enclosure opposite to the lower surface for supporting the fixture from an overhead position.

Abstract: A multi-tubular acoustic absorber panel system suited particularly for use in open office environments or workspaces with unwanted echoes, excessive noise, or the need for enhanced acoustic privacy. The basic components of the system are a series of sound absorbent tubular members and a structure for holding the members in an array, creating a baffle which can be attached to wall or ceiling surfaces or, in the preferred embodiment, to a manufactured office partition. When installed, the system creates a lightweight, adaptable, highly absorbent enclosure, capable of significant reduction in unwanted noise and increase in acoustic privacy.

Abstract: A wire and cable manager consisting of a low profile partitioned tray surrounded by an enclosure and containing an integral series of powered receptacles, capable of organizing, shortening and containing excess length, and supplying power to a number of power cords, cables or wiring, especially where a group of small appliances or electronic components are used in combination. The top of the device is suitable for stacking one or more components, such as a computer monitor or stereo amplifier.

The device can be used with virtually any appliances and serves to shorten and efficiently organize the connection and power requirements of a variety of appliances, to minimize exposed lengths of connecting wires or power cords, especially when numerous appliances are used in combination and simultaneously, as in data processing workstations or with household music reproduction systems.
