    Abstract: A quick-detachable sling swivel comprises a body and a shift/swing gate mounted on the body through an elongated plunger. The gate, through manipulation of the plunger, is adjustable between open and closed positions relative to the body to enable mounting, demounting and securing of the swivel relative to an external structure. The swivel has a locking mechanism for restricting movement of the plunger to prevent the gate from opening. The body and the loop are integrally formed of metal. The loop has a pair of opposed substantially parallel side members. The gate may include a wedge protruding toward the tang, the wedge having an upper surface that, in the closed position, opposes a flat lower surface of the body. The swivel is capable of withstanding at least 500 lbs. of pull force.

The support is movable between a first position in which a majority of the support is located within the slot and a second position in which the supporting end of the support extends away from the stock so as to support the stock when using the firearm. In a preferred embodiment, the supporting system includes a second support pivotally connected to the stock and movable between the first position and the second position.

    Abstract: A handgun holster has a body that includes inner and outer sides. A catch projects into a handgun receiving pocket toward the inner side. The catch extends within and engages the trigger guard of a handgun carried in the pocket, preventing the handgun from being removed from the pocket. A part of the inner side or a resiliently movable structure associated with the inner side is moveable away from the end of the catch in response to outward pressure, to provide clearance for the trigger guard to pass by the catch so that the handgun can be removed from the holster only when the handgun is manipulated appropriately by the wearer. The catch includes a cam surface so that the trigger guard will slide past the catch when the handgun is placed into the holster.

In the operative first position, the retainer is rotatable on a smaller diameter portion of the plunger without being compelled into axial movement therealong, but can be manipulated into a mated position with a threaded larger-diameter portion of the plunger and then into an opposed position where an enlarged head on the plunger opposes a resiliently expansible tapered sleeve on the retainer. With progressively increasing torque, the retainer is then advanceable to an inoperative second position that permits sufficient depression of the plunger to allow release the swivel from the firearm.

The outer surface of the cap-receiving portion is dimensioned to receive a firing cap, with the sides of the cap closely confronting such surface.
