Abstract: A laser-regulating means for a construction machine for adjusting the height of a height-adjustable machining tool includes three laser measuring heads which are directed to three measuring points being spaced from each other on a reference surface, and an evaluating means, which, from the output signals of the laser measuring heads and from the known geometric arrangement of the laser measuring heads as regards the machining tool, determines the height of the machining tool relative to a reference surface and, from this height and from a target height determines a control signal for a height-adjustment of the machining tool. The construction machine is a road finisher with a height-adjustable plank or a cold planer with a height-adjustable milling drum.

Abstract: An antenna arrangement, which is preferably incorporated in a transponder reader, comprises a first subloop, which essentially encloses a first area and which has a first and a second end, a second subloop, which essentially encloses a second area and which has a first and a second end, the two first ends of the first and the second subloop being connected together and the two second ends being connected together in such a way that the two subloops together constitute a single winding, and a single feeding device for applying a voltage between the connected first ends and the connected second ends, the first and the second subloop being so positioned relative to each other that the first and the second area are so arranged facing each other that plane areas approximating to the areas are parallel to each other or intersect one another at an acute angle.

Abstract: A control device for controlling the application of a material which is adapted to be applied to a subgrade by means of a road finisher, said road finisher comprising a tractor and a floating screed, which is attached by means of at least one drawarm to the tractor in such a way that said screed is arranged behind said tractor in the direction in which the road finisher is moving when in operation, a first end of said at least one drawarm being secured to the tractor by means of a vertically adjustable coupling device, and a second end of said at least one drawarm being rigidly secured to the floating screed, said control device comprising a device for detecting the height of a screed edge in relation to a reference height, said screed edge being the rear lower edge of the screed in the direction of movement. The control device further comprises a device for detecting the inclination of said at least one drawarm in relation to a reference plane.
