Abstract: A fully integrated key fob wherein its base portion and extending tab are injection molded together, to form an integral structure. The extending tab has an aperture also molded therethrough, and into which and through the key ring may be inserted, for retention of other miscellaneous items to the key ring, during usage. Also disclosed is an apparatus and method for making the key fob.
Abstract: A stemming plug constructed from a durable, resilient material and comprising a circumferential wall defining an inner cavity, an end wall at the first end and an open second end. In the preferred embodiment, the circumferential wall is fluted so that it can easily compress and seat in a borehole while maintaining a snug friction fit. The plug is inserted in the borehole over the explosive charge. Stemming material, preferably rock, is placed on top of the plug. The stemming material covers the top and slides down around the circumferential wall and is lodged between the circumferential wall and the borehole. Upon explosion, the blast energy is forced into the inner cavity causing the circumferential wall to expand outwardly and thereby engaging the stemming material and the borehole wall to secure the plug in place. The stemming material can also be placed inside the plug, with blast energy inverting the plug end wall to wedge stemming material within the borehole.
Abstract: A magnetic key fob formed as an enclosure member, opening at one end, providing for the insertion of a permanent magnet therein, and having a fastener that connects approximately at the midpoint of the opening into the enclosure member, for permanently retaining the magnet within the fob, and for also securing a key ring to the fob, which key ring may hold a plurality of keys or other weighted items.
Abstract: A flashlight incorporating operative components that include resilient parts, made of compressable rubber or a polymer, is used for providing the opening or closing of the circuitry for the flashlight to energize or de-energize it, when manual pressure is applied to the back end or sealing cap for the device. The flashlight includes its casing member, with a light exposing end, having an aperture through which the bulb projects its illumination, and a back or battery insertion end, with a sealing means or end cap for closing the casing at this location.
