  • Patent number: 11433725
Abstract: The bushing includes an outer cylinder, an inner cylinder, and an elastic body therebetween. The outer cylinder has a central recess portion recessed from the inner peripheral surface in the radial direction at the central portion in the axial direction, and the thickness of both end portions is thicker than the thickness of the central portion. The central recess portion is formed in a curved shape or having a curved and a straight shape. The inner cylinder has a central convex portion swelling from the outer peripheral surface in the radial direction at a position corresponding to the central recess portion. The maximum outer diameter of the central convex portion is larger than the minimum inner diameter of the inner peripheral surface of the outer cylinder.

  • Publication number: 20200206582
Abstract: A ball body is covered by a plurality of skin members formed integrally of a soft material comprised of resin or rubber as a shaped structure having a front wall portion, a circumferential wall portion and a recess portion altogether. In the recess portion, between the ball body and each skin member, there is formed a hollow portion surrounded by the ball body and the respective skin member and separating the ball body and the front wall portion from each other. As a cushion portion and an air present portion are coexistent in each hollow portion, when a person grips a ball, the cushion portion is collapsed to increase the area of contact between the outer face of the ball and the pulp(s) of the finger(s), thus facilitating the person's gripping of the ball. The readily grippable state of the ball can be maintained for a long period of time.

  • Patent number: 7753813
Abstract: The ball for a ball game of the invention includes a fabric layer 1 having a spherical 12-hedron where twelve right pentagonal fabric pieces 2 are sewn together. The marginal edges of the fabric piece being folded by 90 degrees, and the marginal edges are sewn together with a sewing machine. The fabric layer is then reversed through cross-like slits 5a, 5b formed in the fabric layer in a location opposite to a valve opening 5 (also formed in the fabric layer) in such a manner that the marginal edges are located on an inner side of the fabric layer. After the bladder is accommodated within the fabric layer through the closure hole 5, the hole 5 is closed by a patch. Onto a surface of the fabric layer, there is adhered the panels. Thereby, the ball for a ball game having no unevenness and soft feeling is attained.
